Socio-Cultural Values Are Risk Factors for COVID-19-Related Mortality

چکیده

To assess whether socio-cultural values are population-level risk factors for health, I sought to predict COVID-19-related mortality between 2 weeks and 6 months after the first death in a country based on extracted from World Values Survey different sets, controlling various confounding variables. was increased countries endorsing political participation but decreased with greater trust institutions materialistic orientations. The were specific mortality, did not general health outcomes, predicting predicted other outcomes (e.g., environmental-related mortality).
